Simon of S.A Gardens has over a decade’s worth of experience working in horticulture with a depth of knowledge of both country and city gardens.

Simon started his gardening career over ten years ago in Bourton, Dorset working for a small company whilst studying for, and obtaining his NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture, and his Chainsaw License. During his time in Dorset, Simon was doing: hedge cutting, pruning, weeding, lawn care, rose care, chain sawing and more in a range of small and large country gardens as well as country estates.

Simon moved to Wimbledon in November 2015 and worked for one of the south west London’s leading gardening companies as their head gardener, as well as their go-to gardener for their partnership with John Lewis and Partners. During this time Simon worked in a wide range of gardens with different complex needs which he maintained all year round. Simon also obtained his Chemical Spraying License.

In 2020 Simon wen’t fully self-employed as S.A Gardens and has continued to maintain, improve and service gardens over the South and South West of London with the additional option of working with an experienced partner.

Simon prides himself as a hard working honest individual that strives to deliver top quality gardening all year round. Simon also has an eye for colour and garden design and is capable of sourcing top quality plants.
